The Multiport Well was one of two wells installed earlier this year to better measure recharge and aquifer dynamics in the Jacob’s Well Groundwater Management Zone.  The Watershed Association actively supports scientific research on many of our conservation lands.  Cave surveys, karst feature surveys, water level monitoring at five groundwater wells, vegetation surveys, and land restoration efforts at the Watershed Association’s Colemans Canyon Preserve help support scientific research about the Jacob’s Well springshed. Our scientific research and monitoring programs have continued to expand in recent years through the work of the Watershed Association’s Robin Gary and numerous partner organizations.
