Experience 50+ Art Kites inspired by water, free lite bites, and mocktails, artist meet and greet, and music by Big Cedar Fever!

The Sacred Springs Kite Exhibition is a showcase of Art4Water, a program of the Watershed Association, highlighting the intersection between art, culture, expression, and conservation. A collaboration between The Watershed Association, Terry Zee Lee, and The San Marcos Arts Commission, this exhibit features the work of 30+ national and local artists to raise awareness of threatened Texas springs and the vital connection of water to life.

The Sacred Springs Kite Exhibition debuted in Austin, TX in 2022 and will be featured in three San Marcos buildings from May-September 2023 with the addition of 4 new artists.

Art4Water turns to our community’s artists as facilitators of a deeper connection to nature through the medium of visual expression.

Join us for an evening of celebration to experience the Sacred Springs Kite Exhibition and learn more about experiential programming that connects artists and visionaries to the mission of environmental stewardship.

This exhibit can be found at three locations across San Marcos from May-September 2023:

San Marcos Public Library: 625 E Hopkins St.
