Old Kyle Road Improvements: Wimberley Valley Trails Initiative Virtual Public Meeting
February 16, 2022 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
FreeOld Kyle Road in downtown Wimberley is one of the busiest and most congested roads in the Valley. Parking, pedestrian access, traffic, bike routes, and stormwater runoff make it a particularly tricky improvement project. This is an opportunity to improve and protect water quality in Cypress Creek, make walking and biking safer, and enhance the downtown experience.
The Wimberley Valley Trails Initiative is going to hold a Virtual Public Meeting on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
The Wimberley Valley Trails Project is an effort by Hays County and the City of Wimberley to develop a multi-year vision plan to improve connectivity, safety, and mobility in the cities of Wimberley and Woodcreek, which includes improvements to Old Kyle Road between Wimberley Square to FM 3237.
The Virtual Public Meeting will be an opportunity to submit thoughts on potential concepts to make Old Kyle Road a safer, more accessible corridor with improved sidewalks, bike paths, safe crosswalks, native landscaping, and more. During the meeting, you will have a chance to ask questions, share comments, and discuss ideas.
Details and registration for the meeting are available at: Wimberley Valley Trails Initiative’s Virtual Public Meeting announcement (link)
