Hays County Tire Drive

Hays County is hosting a Tire Drive on Saturday, April 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 750 River Road, San Marcos, TX. The drive is free and for Hays County residents only. Only the first 800 tires are being accepted; rims are not being collected. Accepted tires include cars, light trucks, SUVs, 18-wheelers, motorcycles and golf carts.

Repurposed tires become new playgrounds, gravel substitutes, garden mulch and wastewater treatment and reduce mosquito populations and viruses, landfill waste and land and water pollution. For more information, email taylor.holliday@co.hays.tx.us or call (512) 938-1605.
